Inviting the community to their new destination, Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Riverdale hosted their first annual Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 25.
“Watching this area gather together was an impactful experience,” said Jacob Sobers, general manager of Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Riverdale. “While our franchise is fairly new, the Young Automotive Group has had an established presence in Riverdale for several years. We’re grateful for the support we received today, and for the opportunity we had to provide families with something fun to do over the weekend.”
During the event, attendees were welcomed to a setting with candy and games as well as decorated vehicles from both the dealership and members of the community. Several businesses joined as well, including iHeartMedia — who organized a remote broadcast on the lot.
In addition to the festivities, the Young Automotive Group’s charitable nonprofit, the Young Caring for Our Young Foundation, set up a booth at the event to deliver information about upcoming initiatives.
“The role Trunk-or-Treats play in our community outreach efforts is incredibly impactful, and all are rooted in the strong partnerships we’ve formed as an organization,” said Kellee Belnap, executive director of the Young Caring for Our Young Foundation. “As we engage with school districts and community members, we aim to spread our message, and continue to enlist individuals in our causes.”
Along with the Trunk-or-Treat at Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Riverdale, similar events were held at Young Powersports XL Centerville, Young Chevrolet and Young Powersports Euro, as well as the company’s franchises in Logan and Burley, Idaho.
News of the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership’s acquisition was announced on Oct. 20. Previously Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Riverdale, the location now serves as one of the Young Automotive Group’s four Stellantis operations, as well as one of their four franchises on Riverdale Road.
