Established in 2006 by Young Automotive Group chairman Spencer Young Sr. and his wife Sherry, the Young Caring for Our Young Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) that’s dedicated to empowering children in our communities. Together with our partners and volunteers, we devote our efforts to resolving issues related to four focus areas: clothing, hunger, literacy and teen homelessness.
Our initiatives are supported by several businesses who strive to fulfill their commitment to the community. Each Young Automotive Group location donates at least $10,000 to our foundation — all of which goes back to impacting the areas they operate in. We host and participate in over 50 charitable events annually across Utah, Idaho and Montana.
In 2022, we launched the revolutionary KIND Fund program. Working with educators, donors and volunteers to provide clothing and essential assistance to students in need, the initiative has provided for thousands of children.
Together with our partners, we’ve provided over $6 million to local education foundations and various philanthropic initiatives. We know that by bringing communities together and taking action against poverty, we can add joy to childhoods and improve family relationships. You can too by donating or volunteering today.
The Young Caring for Our Young Foundation is a beacon of hope for children who are overcoming challenges. While we provide them with resources, our mission is to help them feel cared for and loved. Like how no child deserves to experience poverty, no child deserves to feel like a statistic.
